Did you know that breast cancer in 90% of women is treatable if detected early? Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide. The risk for breast cancer increases with age and may be related to family history as well as lifestyle factors.

We are delighted to announce that we supported, the Panhellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer “Alma Zois” on October 2nd, on will host the symbolic race at Zappeion!

About “Alma Zois”:

Race for the cure 2022 logoWith the vision of a world without breast cancer deaths, women who had personally experienced the disease founded the non-profit Panhellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer “Alma Zois” in 1988. All its members, volunteers, and Board of Directors are breast cancer survivors. The Association’s main operational pillars are education regarding disease prevention and early detection, coordinated mutual aid, patient empowerment, and psychosocial support.

As a human-centered company, Teleperformance proudly supported Greece Race for the Cure, for the 5th year in a row, as the Volunteers Sponsor. We stood by this cause, wanting to honor women who have battled the disease or have succumbed to it and raise funds for the programs against it.

It was inspiring to see our employees actively joining the Greece Race for the Cure 2022. Hundreds of them ran or walked as part of this initiative not just because they wanted to make a difference, but also because they enjoyed being there. The involvement of people was extremely empowering and reminded us why we work hard; to have a positive impact on the people around us. This year’s crowd was amazing! An impressive number of volunteers were engaged in the event, which was unexpected and made us really happy. The involvement of people was extremely empowering and brought us even closer.

We’re beyond proud to have been part of this year’s Race for the Cure and how our participation in this initiative has helped support health and raise awareness for breast cancer.

Together we are stronger than breast cancer!
