Our responsibility is to run a successful business and take action to protect and benefit our planet. Mitigating negative environmental impacts and ensuring a better future for the next generation is one of our main goals. In the light of our goal to get Net-Zero Carbon by 2040, TP has set new greenhouse gas emission reduction targets; to reduce Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 49% per FTE, scope 3 carbon emissions from the purchased goods and services, and employee commuting by 38% per FTE, by 2026 from a 2019 base year.
In Greece, TP takes a comprehensive approach to sustainability in its buildings through various sustainable practices, such as energy management and materials and waste minimization. Furthermore, we run employee awareness campaigns all year round, organize clean-up and tree-planting actions, and actively promote biodiversity protection.
As a responsible corporate entity, we take actions to contribute to reforestation processes to repair damaged ecosystems. Through our concerted efforts, we aim at restoring the health of our planet, while fostering a greener, more sustainable future for generations to come. To reach this goal, we have planted over 2,000 trees in Attica in the past two years. Every single tree we plant is a symbol of our dedication to reduce climate change and create a lasting legacy that future generations can enjoy and benefit from.

In May 2024, TP Greece partnerned with Aegean Rebreath and formed the dynamic Water Alliance, an initiative that contributes to reducing environmental impact, protecting biodiversity, and promoting energy conservation.
This initiative is part of TP’s corporate social responsibility strategy,
an environmental initiative through the Citizen of the Planet (COTP) program, which focuses on promoting sustainable development.
