Teleperformance Greece at the 10th Women in Business Forum

In today’s rapidly changing professional landscape, fostering inclusivity and equal opportunity is essential. Teleperformance in Greece had the honor of participating in the 10th Women in Business Forum, organized by ICAP at the NJV Athens Plaza, where leaders gathered to discuss the future of gender equality in the workplace.

Representing our team, our CHRO, Mr. Alexopoulos, took the stage in the panel discussion, Women Challenging the Men’s World, focusing on the power of female leadership, the value of diversity, and the importance of breaking stereotypes.

Navigating Leadership in Male-Dominated Spaces

During the panel, speakers shared insights on navigating leadership in traditionally male-dominated industries, emphasizing the power and unique perspectives that women bring to the table. Mr. Alexopoulos discussed his experiences leading diverse teams, highlighting how integrating more women into leadership roles strengthens the organization’s foundation and drives innovation.

Collaborating with women in various professional settings,” Mr. Alexopoulos noted, “has reshaped how we understand team dynamics and performance. Women bring fresh perspectives, empathy, and resilience, all of which are vital in today’s business environment.

Overcoming Obstacles: Barriers and Solutions

The panel addressed the barriers that women often face in their career journeys, from internalized stereotypes to external societal expectations. They underscored the importance of confidence, support networks, and workplace policies that prioritize equality. Mr. Alexopoulos emphasized the need to dismantle stereotypes that undermine confidence, advocating for environments where everyone can fully leverage their strengths.

At Teleperformance Greece, initiatives like “TP Women” provide structured mentorship, training, and leadership development, encouraging women at every professional level to step forward and embrace their potential. “Our programs are designed to remove barriers and empower women to lead with confidence and authenticity,” he said, showcasing our commitment to an inclusive culture.

Teleperformance’s Dedication to Diversity and Equality

Teleperformance has embedded gender diversity into its core values, recognizing that true progress arises from equal opportunities. Currently, 53% of our workforce comprises women, with 47% holding leadership positions. This balance is more than a statistic—it reflects our belief that diversity is key to success. Through the TP Women initiative, we offer a platform for female employees to thrive, contribute uniquely, and ultimately, lead.

Women in business are redefining leadership, and companies that prioritize diversity and inclusion benefit from fresh approaches, stronger teams, and innovative solutions. Mr. Alexopoulos shared, “Breaking down barriers for women in the workplace does not only empower individuals but strengthens the entire organization. It’s about creating a space where each voice is heard, each talent recognized, and each ambition encouraged.

Moving Forward with Purpose

As we reflect on the discussions at the 10th Women in Business Forum, it’s clear that the journey toward equality in leadership is ongoing but promising. Teleperformance remains committed to this journey, fostering an environment where everyone, regardless of gender, has the opportunity to excel.
