Turning Pages into Purpose: How TP Greece & Shedia Promote Sustainability and Social Impact

At TP in Greece, we are committed to fostering sustainability, creativity, and social responsibility. That’s why we were honored to partner with Shedia, Greece’s only street magazine, for a truly inspiring initiative—the Shedia Art Upcycling Workshop.
This unique event brought together innovation, environmental consciousness, and social empowerment as we transformed unsold Shedia magazines into functional, handcrafted items. More than just an art workshop, it was a powerful reminder of how businesses and communities can collaborate to create meaningful change.
About Shedia: A Magazine with a Mission
Shedia is Greece’s only street magazine, sold by accredited vendors who are homeless or belong to vulnerable groups. This initiative provides them with an opportunity to earn a dignified income and reintegrate into society.
Beyond publishing, Shedia promotes social inclusion and environmental sustainability—one of the reasons why our upcycling workshop was such a perfect collaboration.
A Look Back at an Unforgettable Experience
- Creativity in Action – Participants engaged in hands-on upcycling, learning techniques to repurpose magazine pages into unique designs.
- Sustainability with Purpose – By giving new life to unsold magazines, we reinforced the importance of eco-conscious choices in business and daily life.
- Stronger Together – This initiative was not just about crafting—it was about connecting people with a shared mission: supporting social enterprises and making a tangible difference.
Why This Matters
At TP in Greece, we believe that businesses have a role to play in driving social and environmental impact. By partnering with organizations like Shedia, we are not only supporting their mission but also inspiring our teams and the wider community to think creatively about sustainability and social good.
Stay tuned for upcoming events—let’s continue making a difference, one step at a time!
