At TP Greece, we believe that true excellence is not only measured by performance but also by the positive footprint we leave on people, communities, and the planet.
In honor of World Cleanup Day, our team in Thessaloniki partnered with Save Your Hood Greece to help protect Lake Kerkini, a true gem of biodiversity in Northern Greece.
A Commitment to Protect What Sustains Us
Although man-made, Lake Kerkini is a sanctuary of life, part of the Natura 2000 network and one of Greece’s ten Ramsar Wetlands of International Importance. It shelters hundreds of migratory bird species and supports unique flora and fauna.
However, this natural haven faces growing threats from pollution and waste, from plastic debris to materials carried downstream by the Strymonas River.
Recognizing the urgency of the issue, our TP volunteers devoted their time and energy to help restore balance to this fragile ecosystem, removing single-use plastics and other waste that endanger its natural harmony.
For us, this wasn’t just a cleanup, it was an act of collective responsibility. A reminder that environmental protection starts with awareness, collaboration, and genuine care.

Sustainability as Part of Who We Are
We are deeply committed to fostering a culture that not only celebrates diversity but also nurtures accountability towards people, society, and the environment.
Our teams across Greece continuously seek ways to go above and beyond, contributing to a better, fairer, and cleaner world.
This initiative at Lake Kerkini reflects that culture, one that values collaboration, sustainability, and the belief that every small action can inspire great change.
