Teleperformance Greece Hosts First-Ever Movember Event!
At Teleperformance in Greece, we are dedicated to fostering a culture of care, inclusion, and employee well-being. This November, as part of our ongoing Health and Safety initiatives, we proudly organized our first-ever Movember event, aimed at raising awareness about men’s health and the importance of early detection.
In collaboration with Doctoranytime, the event featured an inspiring session led by Dr. N. Mertziotis, MD, PhD, Head of Urology at Metropolitan General Hospital, Athens. Dr. Mertziotis, also the President of the Hellenic Association for Focal Therapy, brought unparalleled expertise from his tenure at the H.R. Institute of Urology at UCL in the UK.
Breaking the Silence: Men’s Health Matters
During the session, Dr. Mertziotis emphasized the need to break the stigma surrounding men’s health, focusing on the importance of prevention and early detection of serious conditions like penile cancer. He highlighted key risk factors, including smoking, age, and immune challenges and explained how these risks can be managed through awareness and lifestyle changes.
Dr. Mertziotis also shared modern treatment methods, including chemotherapy, surgical therapy, and advanced radiation techniques, offering hope and actionable solutions. Attendees left the event informed, empowered, and motivated to prioritize their health and advocate for greater awareness within their communities.
A Commitment to Employee Well-Being
This Movember initiative underscores Teleperformance Greece’s dedication to supporting our employees both professionally and personally. Health and safety are at the core of what we do, and we are committed to providing the tools and knowledge employees need to thrive. By partnering with trusted experts like Doctoranytime, we aim to drive impactful conversations around men’s health and wellness.
Looking Forward
As we celebrate the success of this first Movember event, we remain committed to leading the way in health and wellness initiatives. Our heartfelt thanks go to Dr. N. Mertziotis, our partners at Doctoranytime, and our amazing team for making this event meaningful. Let’s continue to make every month an opportunity to prioritize our health, raise awareness, and support one another.
Together, we can foster a culture of care that makes a difference.
