Due to the continuous growth within Teleperformance Greece, we are pleased to announce the recruitment of a Business Development Lead to join our already established global sales team.

The Business Development Lead is responsible for being a trusted client advisor, bringing together Teleperformance’s expertise and thought leadership to shape solutions and to solve our clients most critical business needs.

The BD lead will be subject matter expert in Trust & Safety and will be able to provide thought leadership locally to drive the growth of this line of business. They will bring together the right Teleperformance team to drive profitable sales growth, expand Teleperformance’s footprint, ensure profitable delivery and influence the client in strategy. The BD lead for the region will bring extensive experience in account growth, profit and loss and exceptional client relationship management experience.

The role of Business Development Lead will involve:
  • Generating new opportunities for Trust and Safety clients from previous contacts and developing new contacts
  • Working with marketing and demand generation to develop strategies that target key sectors. Establishing and developing relationships with any key decision-makers within prospective new clients that you have identified to heighten the Company’s chance of securing any future outsource activity
  • Work with business intelligence teams to research background information on potential new customers and to fully diagnose customer’s needs
  • Working closely with the Trust and Safety Community of practice to forming a ‘bid team’ comprising operational, technical, HR, and executive-level input where necessary and clearly brief the team on required input to achieve bid success
  • Develop and grow the client relationship across the region and bring best practices across all Trust and Safety locations
  • Acting as an internal country consultant on new business and client issues as required and share best practices and learnings in the area of Trust and Safety
  • Producing new business proposals and responses to tenders and ensure that team produce effective documents to the required standard
  • Undertaking sales presentations, co-ordinating relevant colleagues’ input, organizing site tours and taking overall responsibility for the outcome of each opportunity
  • Partner with operational teams to understand opportunities and ongoing conversations with the client to build cohesion across the company as well as identifying growth opportunities
  • Ensuring that internal governance and financial planning is administered effectively
  • Acting as an internal consultant on new business and client issues as required
  • Meeting all individual monthly and yearly sales targets
Desired Skills and Experience

We are ideally looking for candidates with the following background/skill set:

  • Extensive experience in a senior client service and/or sales role
  • Considerable experience within various aspects of the BPO sector (e.g., Contact Centre/ Service delivery lead)
  • A thorough understanding of the Trust and Safety industry and demonstrated awareness of the Trust and Safety growing practice an in-depth knowledge of current future challenges in the industry of Trust and Safety
  • An in-depth knowledge of future challenges in the industry of Trust and Safety and an understanding of future innovations across this industry
  • A strong team player with a proven track record of identifying designated market sectors and specific accounts that have the potential for development into high net worth accounts and/or have a company structure where there are multiple buyers of direct marketing services
  • Demonstration of an excellent range of effective communication skills with the ability to adapt styles according to demands of the audience is essential
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to work independently but also drive local initiatives with the support of the teams
  • An essential requirement is the ability to persuade and influence others with proven negotiation and sales skills and the ability to work at a senior level
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with multiple levels of management
  • Excellent financial understanding and the ability to manage complex budgets is essential
